Houston Life Insurance, Starting With a Review of What You Have
Before quoting term life, whole life or any other policy, we read the coverage your family already carries and pin down what is missing. That includes group coverage from work, older policies and who is named as beneficiary, so a new policy closes the gap you actually have.

Where We Meet Clients
We work with families all across Houston itself, along with West University Place and Bellaire, and the smaller cities on the west side: Hunters Creek Village, Spring Valley Village, Bunker Hill Village and Piney Point Village. Many households there already carry several policies from different points in their lives. Our first step is reading each one, checking the beneficiary lines and term end dates, and finding where they overlap or leave a hole.
On the east and north sides we see families in Galena Park, Jacinto City, Cloverleaf and Aldine. Here the first question is often simpler: is the group coverage from work enough, and what happens to it if the job changes? Most reviews happen by phone or video. If you would rather sit down in person, we can meet at our office or come to your kitchen table for a home visit.
What Shapes Coverage Across the Houston Area
- 01
Coverage through an employer
A lot of people across the metro have group life through work, often sized at one or two times salary. That policy usually belongs to the employer plan, so it typically ends when you leave, change jobs or retire. We ask about it first, because a gap that only appears at a job change is easy to miss and expensive to fix later in life, when underwriting gets stricter.
- 02
Mortgages and other long debts
A mortgage balance shrinks on a schedule, which is why we compare mortgage protection insurance with a level term life policy before recommending either. We look at the loan balance, years remaining and whether a spouse could carry the payment alone.
- 03
Storm season and your paperwork
Gulf Coast hurricane season runs every summer and fall. It is a good reason to keep policy numbers, carrier names and beneficiary details somewhere your family can reach if paper files are damaged. We walk you through what to keep and where.
- 04
Texas policy rules
Policies issued to Texas residents are regulated by the Texas Department of Insurance. Grace periods, cancellation rights and contestability terms are written into each contract, so we show you the exact clause in your policy rather than paraphrasing it from memory.
- 05
Meeting the way that suits you
You can talk with us by phone or video, visit our office, or have us come to your kitchen table. Have any current policies handy, a recent statement for retirement accounts if you want retirement income planning reviewed, and a list of the people you want named as beneficiaries.

Start With What You Already Have
Tell us which policies your family carries today. We will set a time to talk by phone, video or in person, read through your current coverage and show you where the real gap sits before any quote.
